Welcome Baby Garris

The first time Carri and I met she was taking my maternity photos.  We met through a mutual friend who introduced us so we could exchange maternity photos.  Obviously it worked out very nicely.  Not only are we business partners, but we are good friends too.  Garris is Carri's second baby so when we discussed maternity, birth and newborn photos she had a very clear vision of what she wanted. I was SO EXCITED that she asked me to take photos of Baby B's birth (we didn't know Garris was a boy) and I couldn't wait to show her the photos.   Welcome to the world Garris Martin! You have a wonderful Mommy. Love you Carri!

I can't believe it's been so long since our last post!   Sure doesn't feel like it. Although I should point out that Carri had her little boy between then and now...his name is Garris! Garris is a perfect little cutie and I'm working on a huge post with all sorts of photos of him.
Getting back to the title of this post.    You have all seen this family multiple times here on the blog because they are one of our most loyal clients.  So thank you Jordan and David!   Thank you for always trusting us to capture these special moments with your handsome boys.

National Sibling Day

In honor of National Sibling Day I bring you two beautiful sisters. I hope these beauties grow up knowing the value of sisterhood.   I know one thing for sure...I couldn't live without my sister!

Instagram Love

We love Instagram!  I personally love it because it's a quick and easy way to play with photos and to document the little moments.  It's no fuss.

I take a photo using the phone camera then open Instagram and import the photo. I apply each filter once and then choose my favorite.  Sometimes I remove the border, sometimes I like it better with it.  

Is that how you use the app?  Or do you use Instagram to take the photo?  Do you use the same filter every time?  Do you always remove the border?

Spring Mini Sessions! May 18, 2013 10am-1pm

Hi all, It's that time of year again! Yippee! Mini Sessions will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 10am-1pm. (please note we will add additional time slots as they are needed)    Our location this time is an abandoned farm with two small houses and a barn at Cinquefoil Ln (tiny street...blink and you'll miss it) and Harmony just west of I-25, in Fort Collins. We offer 15 minutes of shooting time with 5-7 images on a disc to print at your leisure for $30.00 (for groups of more than four people contact us for additional charges).
